Pile Bent​

The Bridge programs are a style of program we refer to as data driven design.

The design engineer is presented with a GUI that allows her to enter bridge design parameters – minimum cap depth, footing elevation, step lengths, and so on.

From this data, the program automatically draws plan, section, and elevations – it adds dimensions and notes to meet drawing standards.

Pile Bent, of course, creates bent drawings. The speed at which one can generate bridge documents is incredible and is due, at least in part to these programs. Multiple scenarios are possible without a lot of drafting leaving more time for engineers to work on design.
