FAQ #2 Do I need the Google Maps Preview to use PhotogeoDWG?

Here’s what you might see in the map preview window when selecting a photo from the list.

Some users do not want to get a Google maps key, so we allow the program to run even if you do not have one. In this case the map preview will display the off-line banner. This doesn’t mean internet is not connected. It means that you are unable to reach google maps. That’s ok, because you can still select images from the list and auto-insert them into a drawing.
